A lot of you know already that I LOVE stir fry’s because you get a lot of veggies in as well as they can be low in calories. I will show you how easy it is to make a quick stir fry in no time!
My version I added a few new things: bok choy + parsnips!
In my stir fry:
chicken
pea pods
red onion
cauliflower
bok choy
water chestnuts
parsnips
carrots
celery
edamame
I don’t put any stir fry sauces on it when I am making it, because everyone likes to put their own on. My favorite stir fry sauces are the House of Tsang brand in the Asian section of the store. They have Thai Peanut, Saigon Sizzle, Classic stir fry, etc… SO GOOD! Quick stir fry’s are the best!
And there were leftovers, so I got to bring some to lunch yesterday.

Spoiler Alert!!!!!************BIGGEST LOSER*************
Another great start to the season, but of course I was sad when the twins had to be separated the first week! I don’t know if my sister and I were in that situation what we would do either. We probably would have wanted the other one to stay.
BUT, I was totally surprised how well James did at home!! I thought for sure he might feel bad about going home so early and not do anything.
AND, what about the heaviest man who lost 35 pounds his first week! I wish I could do that, then I would almost be to my goal weight! Ha Ha!!
What did you think about the show?
Actually, I thought this season’s crop is going to be a bit tough to watch. SOOOOO heavy, will be a different type group I think.
I wish, if they were going to have such heavy people they would do a couple weeks before they eliminate anyone. I agree, it was amazing the change from home, but it just broke your heart when they were separated.
Just me, but I have a kinder soul than the producers.
And i love the peanut sauce on stir fry (I just had some on some egg foo young last night)
I was thinking of you and Biz last night – it was so funny how the twins were within one pound of each other, and then lost the exact same amount! I was sad to see them split up, too – but shocked at the one home twin losing 100 pounds in two months!
And when one of the contestants lost 29 pounds, my husband commented that if he could do that he’d be at goal weight! Wish we all could just do a week’s worth of BL diet and workouts…we’d all be done, lol!
My son has been begging me for stir fry, I guess it’s time!
Stirfry is the BEST!!! I haven’t tried parsnips in it before… good idea!!
Hey!!! Thanks so much for stopping by my blog!
I love making stir-fry too…esp when I am short on time =)
I am watching BL as I type this =) so far it’s okay…nothing out of the ordinary…yelling, sweating, crying, and throwing up lol
Stir fries are the best! Especially with peanut sauce. I love making them with some tofu, broccoli, cauliflower, and sweet potato. Delicious.
I used to love the biggest loser but didn’t get a chance to watch the last season. I am ridiculously behind I guess… I wish my dad would watch it so that maybe he would get some inspiration to DO something about his weight.
Your stir fry recipes always have a nice mix of veggies. It might be worth a try to explore some of the ones you’ve used.
Love stir fries for the same reason – all the veg! I need to put them back into my weekly meal rotation!
I was so impressed at james’ weight loss at home, too! It’s like he just needed that jumping off point, and needed to know his bro was doing it somewhere, too. Very cool!
I agree … James did GREAT! It’s amazing seeing them drop that much in one week, isn’t it??
