The last time I was at Aldi foods, I passed by the bread section and saw that their bakery brand L’oven Fresh had a high fiber whole wheat wrap. I turned over the package and was surprised to see that each wrap was only 100 calories, and 8 grams of fiber! (or 1 point on Weight Watchers!). So this morning I was kind of in a hurry, I haven’t made any muffins this week, so I thought I would make a scrambled egg wrap. These are the ingredients I used:
- 1 wrap
- 1 egg, 2 egg whites
- .5 ounce of Swiss cheese
- 1 slice turkey bacon
- honey mustard
I cooked the eggs in the microwave, place the cooked eggs on the wrap, put the cheese and bacon on top and honey mustard and fold it over. I wrapped it in foil to keep it warm and by the time I got to work the cheese had melted and it was fantastic and filling. There are a lot of variations you could use. You could add salsa, turkey sausage, Canadian bacon, feta cheese or whatever else you like. My version was 272 calories and 8 fat and 8 fiber. It took less than 5 minutes to prepare too, so its a nice thing to make even if you are in a hurry!
That looks delish!
