I took my daughter to a branch of our local library the other day to get her some books to help her get ready for 1st grade. Looking on the online catalog, I was wondering if they had The Biggest Loser cookbooks, books, vidoes etc… Sure enough they did, but not at the branch I was in. So, today on my lunch I went across the street from my office to the huge main library and not only did I get the cookbook, but I got The Biggest Loser work out DVD, plus a book called “The Healing Gourmet” by Victoria Rand, Kathy McManus and Bev Shaffer. That cookbook targets specifically lowering your cholesterol (since my cholesterol is high). I also got a book called the Low-Calorie Cookbook published by the American Heart Association. So, I am excited to try some new recipes. I forget about the library, but I couldn’t believe how many cookbooks and work out videos they had there. So, if you are in a rut, need some ideas, don’t want to spend any money, try something new by visiting your local library!
