I’ve made this vegetable pizza using Skinny Pizza Dough 3x this week! It’s so good. What’s Skinny Pizza Dough? My twin sister Biz’s recipe that she came up with about 5 years ago. It’s gone viral and thousands are making this dough every week – including me!
Skinny Pizza Dough Recipe
If you have never tried this recipe HERE IS THE LINK.
You’ve probably tried or make the 2 ingredient dough – using just flour and Greek yogurt. That dough is hard to work with, has very little taste, the dough can be very sticky too – My sister’s recipe is amazing and makes a crisp pizza. She’s even got a cookbook on Amazon with dozens of other recipes to make with skinny pizza dough! HERE IS A LINK TO BUY HER COOKBOOK HERE.
The whole recipe makes 2 large pizzas – I tend to make a batch and either make a smaller pizza, or calzone. For my Weight Watcher friends – an ounce of dough is 1 point on WW!
Most times I use a pizza sauce, either storebought or homemade. If you buy storebought – this is my favorite! Classico Fire Roasted pizza sauce.
What’s on my pizza?
For my pizza I used basil paste and a wedge of laughing cow cheese for the base.
What’s basil paste?
If you aren’t familiar with basil paste – it comes in a tube – kind of like pesto – but lower in calories! It’s delicious – a little goes a long way and great for pizza. Other uses could be added to soups, stews, on scrambled eggs, potatoes, or in pasta sauce.
