Homemade pasta sauce

My garden is booming with tomatoes! So excited to make things with food I've grown.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound tomatoes roma and midnight snack variety
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 medium onion
  • 1 green bell pepper
  • 6 baby bell peppers
  • 2 melrose peppers
  • 2 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp beef bouillon
  • 1 tsp Worcester sauce
  • 1/2 cup fresh basil
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 6 oz. can tomato paste

Instructions
 

  • In your largest stock pot, add all the ingredients, EXCEPT the fresh basil. I puree the sauce after it's done, so not necessary to cut the vegetables into a certain size.
  • Cook on low heat for one hour.
  • Add the fresh basil.
  • Using a stick blender, puree until smooth

Notes

I just used vegetables from my garden.  If you are buying from the store, roma tomatoes are perfect for this sauce.
