  • 1 tbsp hemp seeds
  • a few Lily's sugar free chocolate chips
  • banana on top (optional)

Instructions

  • In a jar, add the oats, the protein powder. Stir well - get any clumps of the protein powder out. Add the unsweetened almond milk, the chia seeds, hemp seeds and stir well. Refrigerate for at least an hour - but if you make this while making breakfast - it's a perfect afternoon snack!

Notes

This was 6 personal points for me - if I added a banana - it would be 9 personal points.
I used to think that eating cold oats would be disgusting - when overnight oats were starting to get popular, I didn't try it for YEARS because I thought it would be gross!
If you haven't tried them - they are delicious cold!!
The hemp seeds and chia seeds are optional.  I keep both in my freezer - and they last forever. It's a great source of a healthy fat - rich in omega 3's and so good for you!  I add them to pancake batter, brownie batter, waffle batter, in smoothies!
